Pfingstkirchen in Singapur – Megakirchen und zeitgenössische Christliche Bräuche
Dr. Katja Rakow studies Pentecostal megachurches in Singapore. Over the last decades, Pentecostal Christianity has increasingly become a global phenomenon, also in Singapore. Pentecostal megachurches in Singapore are part of and shaped by larger transnational networks of Pentecostal and evangelical Christians. At the same time, these growing churches emphasize their national identity. Dr. Rakow leads a Junior Research Group which studies these topics. This film is produced by the Cluster of Excellence „Asia and Europe in a Global Context“ at Heidelberg University.
